PRINCETON, N.J.-Freshman
Justin Guerre turned in another top ten finish at the Larry Ellis Inivtational at Princeton on Saturday to lead a strong performance from several Explorers.

Guerre ran a 10.83 to finish ninth out of the 44 entries in the 100 meter dash. Fellow freshman Matthew Knoll ran an 11.82 to finish in 43
rd place overall.

Senior
Nick Rossand sophomore
Stephen Lewandowski had the best finishes of the five La Salle runners in the 1500 meter run. Ross finished in 22
nd place thanks to a 3:47.45 time in the 87 man field. Lewandowski was close behind with a 3:47.54 for 24
th place. Senior
Vince Perozze ran a 3:50.40 to finish in 32
nd place. Freshman
Nick Smart ran 3:56.10 and junior Tim Flanagan finished in 4:05.94 for 61
st and 84
th places respectively. Ross, Lewandowski and Perozze now own the third, fourth and fifth best times in the Atlantic 10 in the event this season thanks to their performances this weekend.

Sophomore
Chris Sanders turned in another strong time in the 800 meters finishing in 17
th place out of 97 entries with a time of 1:50.90. Junior
Chris Trimble also competed in the event finishing in 1:54.05 for 55
th place overall. Trimble's time is the 10
th fastest run in the conference outdoors this season.

Freshman
Jordan Bryan finished in 13
th place in the long jump thanks to a leap of 6.64 meters. Also in the field events senior
Michael Santeramo used a heave of 51.35 meters to finish in 16
th place in the javelin.

Junior
Ian Barnhill had the best finish of three Explorers entered in the 5000 meter run. Barnhill ran a 14:50.96 for a 33
rd place finish in the 81 man field. Freshmen
Bradley Heuer and
Chris Berry also ran in the event running 15:00.91 and 15:14.14 times respectively.

Senior
Ben Pershall ran the 11
th fastest 3000 meter steeplechase time in the conference over the weekend thanks to a 9:35.74 for 35
th place. Sophomore
David Ozarowski also competed finishing in 9:39.99.

Sophomore Nick LeFavor competed in the 1500 meter run finishing in 3:58.30 which is a college best for a 14
th place finish.

Two underclassmen competed in the 400 meter hurdles for the Explorers. Sophomore
Nick Della Vecchia finished in 58.61 while freshman
Michael Hagan was close behind in 1:00.78.

Meanwhile at the Widener Invitational the Explorers had seven athletes competed in two different events.

Freshman Joseph Leconey had the best finish of four Explorers in the 800 meters. Leconey ran a 1:59.38 for a 16
th place finish in the 55 man field. Behind him was sophomore
Gregory Dix in 19
th at 2:00.13, sophomore
Dallas Penny at 2:03.49, and junior Alex Gallo at 2:05.21.

Trent Mangold finished in 25
th of 88 entries in the 1500 meter run. Mangold used a 4:09.34 to pace the three La Salle entries. Sophomores
Dan Rosenblatt and
Ryan Magnus also entered finishing in 4:14.18 and 4:23.00 respectively.

The Explorers return to action as they will have several athletes competing in the Penn Relays this week as well as traveling to the Lehigh Games on Saturday.
