Scouting the Explorers-
Joey Ravert was named Big 5 Player of the Week on Tuesday after hitting .421 (8-for-17) with three doubles, two homers and seven RBI's during four road games last week
-La Salle is 10-7-1 at home this season
-The Explorers lead the A-10 in doubles (112), runs (316) and runs batted in (296) this season
-La Salle has four everyday players hitting over .300:

Josh Savakinus leads the league in doubles (20), and needs just three to the tie the La Salle single-season record. The senior is also third in the league in RBI's with 44

Scouting the Patriots-The Patriots are coming off a series win against the Davidson Wildcats last weekend, and have now won four straight weekend series' (VCU, Towson, GW, Davidson)
- Senior outfielder Luke Willis leads the conference with 48 runs scored, 70 hits and 28 steals while sitting behind only
Justin Korenblatt with a .370 batting average
-Willis has hit safely in 23 straight games while junior shortstop Brandon Gum has hit safely in 22 consecutive games
-Redshirts senior Jake Kalish, who is scheduled to start Friday's opener, is tied for fourth in the league with 66 strikeouts. The lefty is also eighth in the conference with a 3.17 ERA in 70.1 innings
