PHILADELPHIA - The varsity four and varsity eight boats were in action this weekend as the La Salle women's rowing team competed in the 77th Annual Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta on the Schuylkill River. The races marked the conclusion of the 2014-15 season.
The V4 finished third out of five in its heat, just one spot shy of advancing to the semifinal. The Explorers clocked an 8:04.676, outlasting Endicott (8:24.356) and Franklin Pierce (8:46.501). Atlantic 10 foe UMass won the heat in 7:33.029, and along with Cincinnati (7:51.509) advanced to the semis.

Amanda Ryan (bow).
The V8 wrapped up its season with a fifth place finish in its heat. The Explorers crossed the finish line in 7:47.628. Atlantic 10 foes Duquesne (7:01) and Dayton (7:06.313) advanced to the semis, and Delaware (7:09.038) and Iona (7:38.113) moved into reps.
