Saint Joseph'sPre-Game Information- The Alumni Association has cancelled its pre-game reception. If you had RSVPed, you can apply that credit to a later reception (February 6, February 27). Contact the Alumni office for more information.
- Students, there will be a pre-game snow rally at 3:30 PM in the Hayman Center parking lot with free Dunkin Donuts, tailgate games, music and more. Bring your props for a snow man building contest.
Last Time OutTony Washington posted career-highs in points (16) and rebounds (13) but the Explorers fell to Temple, 62-49, in the first game of the Big 5 doubleheader at the Palestra on Wednesday. Washington shot a perfect 7-for-7 from the field and blocked two shots while playing all 40 minutes.
Cleon Roberts added 16, while
Jordan Price was the third Explorer in double-figures with 11 points.
Scouting the Explorers•
Tony Washington had his best performance as an Explorer, setting career-highs in points (16) and rebounds (13) while shooting 7-for-7 from the field vs. Temple.
• La Salle's five starters played all but six minutes vs. Temple.

Jordan Price is currently 18th in the nation in scoring at 21.2 points per game. He is second in the Atlantic 10 behind Jack Gibbs of Davidson and leads the Big 5.

Rohan Brown (knee injury) and
Yevgen Sakhniuk (sickness) have not appeared in a game since December 22 versus Miami. La Salle played with seven scholarship players in the past six games. The seven scholarship players are comprised of two juniors, three sophomores and two freshmen.

Jordan Price is one of three players in the nation to average at least 21.0 ppg., 5.0 rpg. and 3.0 apg.

Johnnie Shuler is ranked fifth nationally in minutes per game (37.8) and leads in the A-10. La Salle has three players in the top seven in minutes per game in the A-10 (Shuler, Roberts, Price).

Amar Stukes has experience playing against two players on Saint Joseph's roster. Stukes lead La Salle College High School to a 65-62 win over Neuman Goretti as a junior. Stukes scored 26 points while current Hawks sophomore LaMarr Kimble scored 13 points as a junior for Goretti. Stukes scored 18 points as a senior when La Salle fell to Saint Joseph's Prep in the Catholic League quarterfinals in 2013. Hawks sophomore Kyle Thompson went for eight points and seven rebounds.

Tony Washington and Saint Joseph's redshirt freshman Markell Lodge were teammates for a season at The Miller School in Charlottesville, Virginia during the 2011-12 season.
Scouting the Hawks• ?DeAndre' Bembry led Saint Joseph's to a 75-60 win over Penn in a Big 5 doubleheader on Wednesday night. Aaron Brown scored 15 points, Isaiah Miles had 13 points and nine rebounds and Shavar Newkirk tallied 11 points. Lamarr Kimble added eight points and six assists.
• The Hawks have won four in a row and 11 of the last 12 games. With 15 victories, Saint Joseph's has surpassed last year's win total (13). The Hawks finished the non-conference portion of the schedule with an 11-2 record.
• SJU's RPI is 33
rd, the second best in the A-10 behind Dayton (11).
• Saint Joseph's is 3-1 against Philadelphia teams this year, beating Drexel, Temple and Penn and losing to Villanova. This game will not count in the Big 5 standings, however, as the Feb. 13 meeting at Hagan Arena will be the City Series game.
