PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Duquesne broke the game open in the second half to hand La Salle an 87-60 loss on Tuesday night at the Palumbo Center. Junior
Jordan Price had 21 points and eight rebounds to pace the Explorers.

Tony Washington had 12 rebounds, his third straight double-figure rebounding game.
For the Dukes, Derrick Colter had a game-high 27 points and Micah Mason scored 14 points and dished 10 assists. Eric James had 11 points and 15 boards.
La Salle held the lead at 15-12 on a Shuler three-pointer with 10:55 to play until halftime. The Dukes (14-7, 4-4 A-10) regained the lead but the score was close until the hosts slowly built a 32-26 halftime advantage.
The Explorers drew within three points early in the second half before a 10-2 run by Duquesne put the Red and Blue up by 11. DU put the petal down late to extend the lead to 29 points.
The Blue and Gold (5-13, 1-6 A-10) visit Dayton on Saturday at 2 PM. The game will be broadcast nationally on NBC Sports Network.
