DAYTON, Ohio – The La Salle men's basketball team continues its road swing as it heads to Dayton on Saturday. Tip is scheduled for 2 p.m. with a national broadcast on NBC Sports Network.
La Salle coaches will wear sneakers with their suits for both games this week in support of cancer awareness. In addition, the coaches will wear gold laces in support of pediatric cancer. Read more. Jordan Price had 17 points, including the 1,000th of his collegiate career, and sophomore
Amar Stukes added 13. Price did more than just score, as he added eight rebounds and six assists. He played all but two minutes and passed 1,000 for his career with a three-pointer late in the second half.
Last Time OutDuquesne broke the game open in the second half to hand La Salle an 87-60 loss on Tuesday night. Junior

Scouting the Explorers•
Rohan Brown, who missed seven games with a knee injury, returned to action on January 24 versus Saint Joseph's. He played 19 minutes against the Hawks and now gives La Salle eight scholarship players while
Yevgen Sakhniuk is still out.

Jordan Price is currently 20th in the nation in scoring at 20.8 points per game. He leads the Big 5 and is second in the Atlantic 10.

Johnnie Shuler is ranked fourth nationally in minutes per game (37.8) and leads in the A-10. La Salle has three players in the top seven in minutes per game in the A-10 (Shuler, Roberts, Price).
• Playing with seven scholarship players and trying to avoid foul trouble, the Explorers have slowed the pace offensively. La Salle had 57 possessions vs. Dayton, 60 vs. Richmond and 56 vs. Rhode Island and Temple, 62 vs. Saint Joseph's and 73 vs. Duquesne. The slowest team in the nation is Denver, which averages 63 possessions. The Explorers were averaging 70 possessions coming into the Dayton game and have averaged 60.7 possessions/game since.
Scouting the Flyers• Dayton has won 32 of its last 33 games at UD Arena, including 18 straight in A-10 action.
• The Flyers are off to a 17-3 start which their best start through 20 games in the Archie Miller era. Dayton is averaging 75.8 points per game and shooting .412 from three-point range.
• Charles Cooke is the reigning A-10 Player of the Week after leading the Flyers to back-to-back road wins. Cooke has scored in double figures in 10 straight games and leads UD with eight games of 20 or more.
• The Flyers have won 10 of their last 11 games with the sole blemish coming at La Salle in early January, 61-57.
