Swimming ResultsPHILADELPHIA-Â Fabian Bergman picked up a win in the 100 backstroke as La Salle men's swimming and diving fell at Penn, 165-123 on Saturday.Â
Bergman snagged the win thanks to a time of 50.60 seconds in the event for a margin of 1.05 seconds over the second place finisher. He also grabbed third place in the 50 yard backstroke event with a 24.23 second time.

Junior
Jerry Gravel took second place in the 100 yard freestyle thanks to a time of 47.83 seconds.

Senior
Johan Roth and sophomore
Dimitrije Mladenovic grabbed second and third place respectively in the 100 yard breaststroke event. Roth touched in 57.59 seconds, just .36 seconds off the winner. Mladenovic was next to the wall in 58.72 seconds.

Junior
Mattias Glenesk finished third in a pair of events. First in the 1000 freestyle he swam a time of 9:40.85 for third place and later returned in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:47.89 again for third place overall.

Sophomore
Jakub Bartosiewicz touched in third place in the 200 yard freestyle event. He swam a time of 1:43.60 for the third spot.

Freshman
Aleksandar Nikolic finished third in the 50 yard freestyle event. Nikolic touched in 22.31 seconds, just 1.39 seconds off the winner.

CJ Gimpel and
Dylan Yurasits finished in second and third place respectively in the one meter diving event. GImpel finished with a 272.77 point total, just 1.88 points off the winner. Yurasits was close behind with 262.95 total points.

La Salle heads to the Atlantic 10 Championships on February 17 at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.Â
