Emma Smith grabbed a pair of event wins at La Salle women's swimming and diving fell 129-160 at Penn on Saturday.Â
Smith grabbed the win in the 500 yard freestyle thanks to a time of 5:03.39 in the event. She topped the field by 1.28 seconds over the nearest competitor. She returned to take first in the 100 yard IM thanks to a time of 1:01.32.

Senior
Kelsey Jenkinson topped the field in the 50 yard breaststroke thanks to a time of 31.64. She touched the wall .05 seconds ahead of the nearest competitor. Jenkinson also finished second in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:08.58. She was just .85 seconds off the pace. Sophomore
Madeline Koelsch finished third in the event with a time of 1:10.58.

Freshman
Olivia DiStefano won the 100 yard backstroke event thanks to a time of 58.18 seconds. She was the only swimmer in the race to turn in a sub-one minute time with a margin of victory of 1.82 seconds. She also finished second in the 50 yard backstroke with a 27.63 second time. She was just .21 seconds off the winner of the race.

Kaitlyn Hay finished second in the 100 yard freestyle race turning in a time of 53.84 seconds. She was just .47 seconds off the winner of the event.

La Salle heads to the Atlantic 10 Championships on February 17 in Geneva, Ohio at the Spire Institute.Â
