PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle Women's Swimming and Diving team fell in three matchups this weekend in an A-10 quad meet with Duquesne, Saint Louis, and St. Bonaventure.
Olivia DiStefano highlighted the team's performance with a first place finish in the 100 backstroke. DiStefano, a sophomore, clocked in at 57.53 seconds to win the race relatively comfortably.
Sydney Szopo finished first in the 3 meter dive for the second time this season with a final score of 224.25. She also placed fourth in the 1 meter dive.
Eva Marie Østerhus also delivered a strong performance with a third place finish in the 200 fly (2:08.61) and fourth place in the 400 IM (4:36.81).
The team has a long rest as it doesn't compete again until November 12 in a tri-meet with Delaware and Rider.
