PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle men's basketball team hosts Delaware in its home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at Tom Gola Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., with the Voice of the Explorers Kale Beers and analyst Steve Degler calling all of the action on GoExplorers.TV and the TuneIn Radio App. In appreciation of all past and present military personnel, La Salle Athletics is offering free admission to all veterans and discounted tickets for all of their guests for the game against the Blue Hens. 

NEWS & NOTES
•The Explorers are coming off a tough 97-92, overtime loss at Temple on Friday, coming back from a double-digit deficit in the second half to force the extra period.
•Trailing by 10 points with 5:23 left, La Salle outscored the Owls, 20-10, over the final minutes, with 10 of those points coming at the free-throw line.
•The Explorers shot an impressive 85.2 percent from the charity stripe against the Owls, including 14-for-15 in the second half.
•Redshirt junior B.J. Johnson had a team-high 23 points and added eight rebounds in his first game with the Explorers.
•Senior Jordan Price added 22 points, including the game-tying three-pointer with 4.6 seconds left in regulation.
•New Delaware head coach Martin Inglesby is 2-0 to start his career, with the victories coming over Division II opponent Goldey-Beacom and on the road at Bradley on Nov. 13.
•Junior Anthony Mosley scored a team-high 16 points in the road win over the Braves on Sunday, while Devonne Pinkard added 14. 
•Pinkard, a 6-6 senior, is averaging 11.0 points through two games and is tied for the team lead with classmate Cazmon Hayes.
•Inglesby took over the Delaware program after spending 13 seasons on Mike Brey's staff at his alma mater Notre Dame.

COMEBACK FALLS JUST SHORT
•Playing against a Big 5 opponent to start the season for the first time in program history, La Salle forced overtime against Temple before falling by a score of 97-92 on Nov. 11.
•The contest was the first overtime game against a Big 5 team since the Explorers edged Villanova, 77-74, on Nov. 25, 2012.
•Senior Jordan Price helped La Salle erase a 10-point deficit with less than six minutes remaining to force overtime.

PAIR OF FROSH GET FIRST STARTS
•Freshmen Isiah Deas and Saul Phiri not only saw the first collegiate action of their careers on Nov. 11 against Temple, but received the starting nod.
•Phiri played 11 minutes, recording an assist, a rebound and a blocked shot.
•Deas had a big impact on the contest, expecially in the first half when he connected on three three-pointers en route to 11 points in the period.
•The 6-6 guad from Brooklyn, N.Y. finished the game with 12 points, seven rebounds and two assists without turning the ball over in 29 minutes.

GOING DEEP!
•Head coach Dr. John Giannini used 10 different players in the season opener against Temple.
•Eight different players played at least 11 minutes, nine players grabbed at least one rebound and seven players found the scoring column.
•Ten of the 13 eligible players on La Salle's roster has started at least one game during their collegiate career.
