PHILADELPHIA - The Men's Swimming and Diving team won six events in a dual with Penn on Tuesday night at Kirk Pool. The Explorers faired particularly well in the short distance events.
Freshman
Marcus Forsgren started things off with a win for the Blue and Gold in the 100 breaststroke, finishing in 58.6 seconds.
Sam Odtallah sprinted to a win in the 50 free, clocking in at 21.67 seconds.Â
In the 200 IM, Jakub Bartoseiwicz touched the wall first in 1:58.48, over six seconds ahead of second place.
La Salle also claimed the 200 free relay. Odtallah, Norman Gregory,
Marcus Forsgren, and
Cameron Fadley took first in 1:25.80.Â
The men also swept the diving events.
Dylan Yurasits won the 1-meter dive convincingly, showing a 294.75 in first place.
Blake Griffith plcaed first in the 3-meter with a score of 244.58.Â
Head Coach
Jamie Platt's team will enjoy a long rest before heading to the Bucknell Invitational on December 2.
