WASHINGTON, D.C. – The La Salle men's basketball hits the road as it travels to Washington, D.C. to take on the George Washington Colonials on Sunday with tip slated for noon on NBCSN. Rich Lerner and Dalen Cuff will have the call.

George WashingtonLast Time OutLa Salle received a balanced offensive attack and stepped up on the defensive end to defeat St. Bonaventure, 71-64, on Wednesday night at Tom Gola Arena. The victory snapped a five-game win streak for the Bonnies, who came into the game in fourth place in the A-10 standings.
Jordan Price [18 points, 10 rebounds] and
Tony Washington [10 points, 12 rebounds] led the Explorers with double-doubles. They were joined by
Cleon Roberts [14 points] and
Johnnie Shuler [12 points] in double figures.
Last Time vs. George WashingtonLa Salle grabbed a 63-50 victory over the Colonials at Tom Gola Arena in January of last season.
Jordan Price led all scorers with 20 points while
Cleon Roberts added 15 of his own. The Explorers held George Washington to just 39.5% shooting from the field on the afternoon.
Series RecordGeorge Washington holds a narrow 20-17 advantage over the Explorers in the 37 previous meeting between the programs. La Salle has held the advantage of late having won six of the last seven matchups between the programs going back to 2012. The Explorers have also taken two of the last three against the Colonials in their home arena the Charles E. Smith Center.
Scouting the Explorers• La Salle coaches will be wearing blue pins for Autism Speaks, the world's leading science and advocacy organization for autism.
• La Salle has won six of the last seven meetings vs. GW and two of the last three at the Smith Center.

Jordan Price and
Johnnie Shuler rank among the nation's most consistent three-point shooters. Shuler has made a three in 29 straight games and Price in 28 straight, which ranks them ninth and 11th in the nation, respectively.

Jordan Price leads the A-10 and is ranked 10th nationally in minutes per game (37.4). He has played all 40 minutes nine times this season. La Salle has three players in the top 20 nationally in minutes per game in the nation (Shuler, Roberts, Price).

Jordan Price is one of seven players in the nation to average at least 19.0 ppg., 5.0 rpg. and 3.0 apg. He is one of five Explorers ever to post those averages in a season (Randy Woods, Lionel Simmons, Larry Cannon and Bernie Williams).

Jordan Price leads the Big 5 in scoring and is third in the Atlantic 10 (19.0 ppg.).

Jordan Price has now reached 1,000 points in his first two seasons as an Explorer. He is the 10th fastest Explorer to reach that milestone. Price is 49th in La Salle history in points.

Yevgen Sakhniuk is shooting .731 (38-for-51) from the field this season, which would lead the the nation if he had enough attempts to qualify (Min. 5 made per game, play in 75% of their team's games).
Scouting the Colonials• The Colonials are 12-2 at the Smith Center this year.
• Tyler Cavanaugh leads the way with 16.5 ppg. while Patricio Garino adds 13.6 ppg. Kevin Larsen leads the team in rebounding (8.5 rpg.) and is third in scoring (11.7 ppg.).
• After the win over Duquesne, the Colonials are 19-7 overall and 8-5 in the Atlantic 10, a game behind St. Bonaventure for fourth place in the league standings.
• The Colonials, who are one of the most experienced teams in college basketball, relied upon their upperclassmen to overcome a 13-point second half deficit against the Dukes. Senior Joe McDonald scored all 14 of his points in the second half while classmate Kevin Larsen finished with a team-high 16 points and a season-high 12 rebounds. Additionally, fourth-year players Tyler Cavanaugh (14 points, nine boards), Matt Hart (11 points, three rebounds, two assists) and Alex Mitola (nine points, 6-6 FTs) played key roles in the Colonials' win.
• With a win vs. La Salle, GW would reach the 20-win mark for the third straight season and 14th time in program history. The Colonials recorded 22 wins a year ago and 24 in 2013-14.
