Jordan Price led the way for the Explorers with 17 points.
For the Colonials, Tyler Cavanaugh led all scorers with 22 points and added six rebounds. Patricio Garino shot 7-for-7 from the field on his way to 19 points and eight rebounds.
The Buff and Blue connected on 14-for-20 from behind the arc for 70 percent and held a 43-21 advantage on the boards. GW shot 58% from the field overall.
GW (20-7, 9-5 A-10) scorched the nets in the first half, making a remarkable 10-for-12 from behind the arc to open a 52-21 halftime advantage. Garino had 18 points before intermission, while Cavanaugh scored 14 in the first half.
La Salle (6-19, 2-12 A-10) returns home on Wednesday to host Fordham at 7 PM.
