Rhode IslandLast Time OutAmar Stukes finished with a career-high 17 points, but it wasn't enough as La Salle fell to conference leader VCU, 88-70, on Wednesday night at Tom Gola Arena. Stukes went 5-for-9 from the floor and hit both of his three-point attempts.

La Salle-Rhode Island Series HistoryWhile Rhode Island holds an all-time advantage over the Explorers, the pair have been more evenly matched over the past eight matchups with both sides coming away with four wins. The Explorers have gone 2-1 against the Rams in the past three games played at Tom Gola Arena.

• La Salle assistant coach Horace "Pappy" Owens is a 1983 Rhode Island graduate and member of its Athletics Hall of Fame. He scored 1,765 career points for the Rams.

Jordan Price is currently 27th in the nation in scoring at 20.1 points per game. He leads the Big 5 and is second in the Atlantic 10.

Johnnie Shuler is ranked seventh nationally in minutes per game (37.6) and leads in the A-10.

Rohan Brown, who is pursuing his MBA at La Salle, was one of 12 students selected to travel to Hong Kong as part of a 10-day travel/study course in international finance in May.
Scouting the Rams• Sophomore Jarvis Garrett leads the Rams scoring 12.6 points per game, assists at 4.3 apg., and three-point field goal percentage .417.
• Hassan Martin is fifth in the Atlantic 10 in field goal percentage, connecting on 58.4% of his shots.
• Jared Terrell has posted three straight games with 20 or more points, including a career-best 25 points vs. Fordham.
• Garrett also ranks seventh in the A-10 in assists (4.3 apg.) and sixth in the A-10 in assist/turnover ratio (2.20).
