Worthington Wins High Jump at Giegengack Invitational

NEW HAVEN, CT-Sophomore Kenneth Worthington won the men's high jump on the first day of the Yale Giegengack Invitational to face the Explorers.
 
Worthington used a jump of 1.96 meters, which is a season-high, to best the field of six men.
 
Classmate Jordan Bryan finished in second place of the long jump thanks to a 6.66m leap. The jump was just .13m off the winner of the event in the ten man field. Freshman Zakiyy Williams finished in fourth place with a 6.54m distance.
 
The men's distance medley relay team crossed in second place out of eight entered teams. Sophomore Nicholas Smart, junior Dallas Penny, freshman Ben DeVenezia, and senior Brendan Robertson crossed in 10:08.29 on the day.
