PHILADELPHIA – La Salle women's rowing competed in the Kelly Cup on Saturday on the Schuylkill River, launching a varsity eight boat against five other Philadelphia schools.
 
The varsity boat finished sixth in their heat, clocking a time of 7:15.9.  Crewing the boat was senior Kaitlyn Reyes (cox), freshman Jessica Lindsay, junior Amanda Ryan, senior Samantha Fader, senior Maura McKenna, freshman Danielle Deley, freshman Emily Fithian, senior Cora Jones and junior Sofia Iaconelli.
 
The women's rowing team will use a week of training before competing in the Atlantic 10 Championship on Saturday, May 8, on the Occoquan Reservoir in Fairfax Station, Virginia.
