BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The La Salle men's track and field team had a pair of top five finishes as they competed at the Lehigh Games on Saturday.

The 1500m field of 52 featured six Explorers with sophomore
Andrew Gorsuch turning in the best performance thanks to a fourth place finish. Gorsuch set a PR with a time of 3:57.94 on the day. Classmate
Dylan Titon was next to the finish in seventh with a 3:59.59 time, which also set a PR. Senior
Nick Libbi and sophomore
Joseph Leconey crossed in ninth and tenth respectively with times of 4:01.59 and 4:03.12 to their names. Freshman
Clint Corso finished in 14
th with a time of 4:05.81 and junior
Ryan Magnus in 35
th in 4:16.62.

Stefan Sutton turned in the best finish of a trio of Explorers in the 800m field of 43. Sutton set a PR in the event with a time of 1:58.75 for fifth place overall and third in his heat. Sophomore
Gregory Dix crossed in 2:01.38 for 22
nd place and junior
Dallas Penny in 30
th with a time of 2:03.32.

Cris Hunter finished in ninth place in a 31 man field in the 400m. He ran a 51.40 which was the sixth best time in the fifth heat of the event.

Daniel Kosogof finished fifth place in the 300m steeplechase thanks to a 10:01.00 time in the nine man field.

Zakiyy Williams finished in seventh place in the long jump field of 20. Williams finished with a 6.36m distance on the afternoon.

Nick Della Vecchia crossed in sixth place in the 400m hurdles with a time of 59.63 seconds, which was the second best time in his section. Sophomore
Michael Hagan was close behind in 59.66 seconds for third in the section and seventh overall.

Stephen Pierce threw a 36.33m distance in the discus for a 17
th place finish on the afternoon.
