Scouting the Explorers
-La Salle took the second game of a doubleheader with Saint Joseph's on Saturday before falling in the series finale on Sunday.
-Redshirt junior
Luke Reilly was named Co-Big 5 Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday after earning his first win of the season with six strong innings against Saint Joseph's on Saturday. The southpaw tied a season-high with seven strikeouts while limiting the Hawks to a pair of runs on four hits and two walks.

Jared Melone is swinging a hot bat for the Explorers after going 6-for-12 against SJU over the weekend. The freshman had two hits in all three games, including a pair of doubles, and leads La Salle with a .321 batting average.
-Melone has hit safely in nine straight games while
Joey Ravert has reached safely in his past 12 games. Ravert leads the team with six homers and 28 RBI, and is tied for third in the Atlantic 10 with 28 walks.
Scouting the Patriots
-George Mason lost two of three to St. Bonaventure over the weekend, including a 16-3 defeat in the series finale on Sunday.
-Kent Blackstone leads the Atlantic 10 with six triples, and paces George Mason with 28 RBI.
-Garrett Driscoll leads Mason at the plate, batting .265 with four home runs and 18 RBIs in 35 games. Freshman Greg Popatak II is hitting .265 with two homers and 13 RBIs in 42 games while fellow freshman Ryan Tassone has a .257 average with 12 RBIs.
-The Patriots have won six of their last 11 games, with four of the wins by a single run. This season, Mason is 9-6 in one-run games overall and 8-2 at Spuhler Field in games decided by a single run.
