Scouting the Explorers
-La Salle won the middle game at George Mason but was unable to claim the series after a 9-7 loss in Sunday's rubber match.
-La Salle was patient at the plate over the weekend, drawing 15 walks in the three-game set at Mason. La Salle's seven walks on Saturday were the third highest total this year.

Luke Reilly earned wins in his last two starts, against St. Joseph's and at George Mason, and leads the starting rotation with a 3.38 ERA. The lefty is second on the team in strikeouts (47), and has walked just 15 batters in 53.1 innings.

Jordan Meyer threw his third complete game of the season on Friday, limiting the Patriots to two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out a career-high seven batters.

Joey Ravert has had eight games with multiple RBI this season, and leads the Explorers with 29 runs driven in.
Scouting the Rams
-URI has won 10 of their last 12 A-10 games dating back to a sweep of St. Bonaventure (April 22-24), but are coming to Hank DeVincent Field losers of their last two. The Rams fell in the series finale against Massachusetts on Sunday and on the road at Connecticut on Tuesday.
-URI lefty Tyler Wilson was named a Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week and A-10 Pitcher of the Week after picking up his 10th win of the season against UMass on Friday. The sophomore took a no-hitter into the eighth inning before seeing his streak of 14.1 consecutive innings without allowing a hit snapped.
-Brett McManus was named A-10 Co-Rookie of the Week on Tuesday after hitting .500 last week (5-for-10) with a double and four RBI. The freshman also posted a .600 slugging percentage and a .583 on-base percentage for the week.
-Sophomore outfielder Jordan Powell is second in the Atlantic 10 with a .369 batting average (62-for-168) while redshirt sophomore Chris Hess is third in the league in runs scored (41).
