Game one
The Explorers couldn't get much offense going early on, with just two hits off the bat of Bascara and no runs in the first six innings. DSU held a 1-0 lead heading into the seventh when junior

Sophomore

Game two
Offense was much easier to come by in the night cap. Hagarty led off the game with her eighth home run of the season and a sacrifice fly by senior
Kendra Heyer made it 2-0, Explorers.
For Hagarty, the eight home runs are the fifth most in a single season in program history. Her 23 career home runs are second all-time.
The Hornets responded with three runs in the bottom of the frame to take a 3-2 lead. La Salle quickly answered with two in the second. Singles by Refice and Hagarty set up a sacrifice bunt by
Mackenzie Obert to put two runners in scoring position. A sacrifice fly by Bascara tied the game and Swanicke reached on a throwing error to plate Hagarty to give the visitors a 4-3 advantage.
La Salle (13-28) held the lead until the fifth when two DSU runs made it 5-4. An RBI single by Hagarty in the top of the six tied it up, which is how the score remained through regulation.
In extras, La Salle took a 7-5 lead. Hagarty reached on an error which plated freshman
Emma Schweigert. Hagarty then swiped second and scored on another error after a groundball by Obert.
The Hornets answered with a five unearned runs in the eighth on a pair of errors to win the game. A three-run walk-off homer by Mika Lumdsen broke the 7-7 tie and ended the contest.
