PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle men's basketball team (11-7, 5-2 A10) returns to Atlantic 10 action on Saturday, Jan. 28, for a matchup with Philly and Big 5 rival Saint Joseph's (9-10, 2-5 A10). All of the action will be televised locally on Comcast Sports Network (CSN) beginning at 6:00 p.m.

NEWS & NOTES
•The game will not be considered the Big 5 contest this season, but will have an impact on the A10 standings, with the Explorers entering with a 5-2 record and the Hawks at 2-5.
•On Wednesday, La Salle rallied from a 14-point deficit to pull to within one of Penn following a three-pointer from senior Jordan Price with 3.0 seconds remaining.
•Two free throws from Quaker freshman AJ Brodeur, who had a career-high 35 points, upped the margin to three before a last-second heave downcourt was intercepted to seal the game.
•Junior B.J. Johnson was in foul trouble in the first half, playing just six minutes, but returned for the second and scored all 15 of his points after the break.
•The Explorers were undone by 17 turnovers and a first-half shooting performance of 30.8 percent, including 2-for-13 from three-point range.
•The second half saw the team flip the script to the tune of 53.3 percent from the floor but it was not enough.
•La Salle currently sits in a three-way tie for third place in the A10 standings with VCU and St. Bonaventure. Dayton holds a half-game lead on Richmond for the top spot at 6-1.
•The game at St. Joe's begins a stretch of four road games over the next six in league play, with trips to George Mason, Fordham and St. Bonaventure coming up over the next three weeks.

ALL-TIME SERIES
