AMHERST, Mass. - The Explorers have had a flare for the dramatic all year long, scoring two game-winners and one game-tying goal in the final three minutes of matches this season. On Wedneday, Pat McCarthy nailed two goals in the final 1:41 of regulation to break a 3-3 tie and bring home a win for La Salle over George Washington. Also in that win, scoring-leader Matt Robinson connected on the team's first three goals of the game. The Explorers hope that lit a spark that they can bring with them to UMass this weekend as the Minutemen are one of the toughest teams on La Salle's schedule.
