PHILADELPHIA - The Explorers out-shot pre-season Atlantic 10 favorite Fordham on the road on Wednesday, but were unable to get one past the goalie in a 1-0 defeat. La Salle will hope to bounce back this weekend when it hosts Rhode Island at home on Saturday night. This season, the Explorers are 4-1-1 at McCarthy Stadium. Last season, the Explorers defeated Rhode Island on the road, 2-1.
