CLAREMONT, Calif. - The La Salle men's water polo team finished out the Gary Troyer Tournament on Saturday night, opposing some of the best teams in the nation in the process. The team dropped both games on the tournament's final day.
La Salle fell to #15 Cal Baptist, one of three ranked opponents the team has faced this season, 21-7.
Daniel Domotor had two goals as the only Explorer to score twice.
Cole Strohson played an all around good game with a goal, three steals, and three blocked shots.

Ash Lyne, and
Jacob Camacho each scored once.
The team was also defeated by Cal Lutheran, 12-5. La Salle held steady for three quarters as the Explorers trailed just 7-5 heading into the final frame before Cal Lutheran pulled away. In the game, Domotor scored two more and Strohson played excellent defense with three steals to go along with a goal as well.
The men's team has a long rest as it will now wait until October 21 before seeing action again. That weekend, the team will wrap up its regular season with four games in two days, starting with Penn State Behrend on Saturday at 10:00 AM.
