Men's Swimming and Diving Sits Third After Day Two of Bucknell Invite

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The men's swimming and diving team remains in third place after the second day of the three-day Bucknell Invitational. The men trail just Towson and Georgetown and are within reach of both heading into the meet's final day.

The Explorers began the day with a win as the 200 medley relay team of Fabian Bergman, Marcus Forsgren, Jakub Bartosiewicz, and Norman Gregory finished ahead of the pack with a final time of 1:30.66.

Bergman gave La Salle its second win of the night later on with a first place finish in the 100 back in 48.34 seconds.

Later in the night, Bartosiewicz placed fourth in the 100 fly, finishing in 49.92 seconds. Forsgren was fourth in the 100 breast in a time of 56.59 seconds. 

Junior Aleksandar Nikolic took third in the 200 free, clocking in at 1:41.41. 

Freshman Gustov Swedenborg was seventh in the 400 IM and first among freshman with a final time of 4:06.01.

The 800 free relay team wrapped up the night with a second place finish as Bergman, Forsgren, Nikolic, and Kyle McElwee clocked in at 6:44.37.

The Bucknell Invite finishes up on Sunday.
