PHILADELPHIA - Fabian Bergman was named the Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week for the fourth time this season as announced by the Atlantic 10 on Tuesday. La Salle has competed in four meets this year, meaning that Bergman has won the conference's top weekly award each time La Salle has competed. Bergman was also named the Explorer of the Week.

The senior from Stockholm, Sweden, was a standout for the Explorers over last weekend at the Bucknell Invitational. He finished with four first place victories. On the first day of the meet, he topped the leaderboard in the 200-yard individual medley with a final time of 1:49.22. On day two, he helped the 200-yard medley relay team to a victory in 1:30.66. He followed that up with another win later on with a first place finish in the 100-yard backstroke in 48.34 seconds. Bergman continued his impressive weekend, finishing the meet on Sunday by placing first in the 200-yard backstroke. His final time of 1:44.60 was over three seconds ahead of second place.

Both the men's and women's teams are in action Tuesday night as they travel for a meet at Penn at 6:00 PM.
