PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle University men's basketball team (13-9, 7-4 Atlantic 10) welcomes Richmond to Tom Gola Arena on Saturday, Feb. 11, for an afternoon showdown that is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.

A special ceremony honoring the five newest members of the La Salle Hall of Athletes - Steven Davis '83Stash Graham '05Kelli McGahey '93Connie Newman '60 and Cheryl Reeve '88 - will take place at halftime. Fans can catch the game on the Atlantic 10 Digital Network and an audio broadcast is also available online via the TuneIn Radio App and Stretch Internet.

NEWS & NOTES
•La Salle snapped a three-game road skid on Wednesday night with a 67-52 victory at Fordham.
•The 52 points allowed was the best single-game performance against a Division I team for the Explorers since Jan. 17, 2015 (W, 60-49 vs. Fordham)
•Fordham shot just 33.9 percent from the field, also a season-best performance by the La Salle defense.
•Junior B.J. Johnson returned to the starting lineup after a one-game absence and was outstanding, finishing with 26 points, eight rebounds, three assists and three steals.
•Johnson went 7-for-11 from the field and 4-for-6 from three-point range.
•Junior Tony Washington also had an effective outing, going 3-for-4 from the floor and 4-for-5 from the free-throw line to finish with 10 points to match his season high.
•The win put the Explorers in a tie for fifth place in the A10 standings with St. Bonaventure, one game behind Richmond and Rhode Island.
•La Salle enters the game as the top three-point shooting team in the Atlantic 10 at 38.6 percent, while the Spiders are the second-best team at defending the three-point shot (30.6%).

ALL-TIME SERIES
•The Spiders hold a narrow 16-15 edge in the all-time series that dates back to 1955.
•La Salle and Richmond squared off four times during the 1950's, with the Explorers winning all four of those meetings.
•More recently, the two teams have split the last six meetings.
•Last year, the Spiders shot 55.6 percent from the floor in a 83-61 win in Virginia.
•T.J. Cline and ShawnDre' Jones combined for 29 points and 15 assists, while Jordan Price led the Explorers with 19 points.

SCOUTING RICHMOND
•Led by seniors T.J. Cline and ShawnDre' Jones, Richmond has won three of its last four games and are one game from the top of the A10 standings at 8-3 (14-9 overall).
•Cline is averaging 19.1 points, 8.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game to lead the Spiders in all three categories. 
•Jones ranks second on the squad in scoring at 17.4 points per outing, and is among the top three-point shooters in the league at 40.7 percent. 
•The Spiders most recently defeated George Washington at home, 84-75.
•Khwan Fore had 24 points while Cline totaled 26 points and 13 rebounds.

EXPLORERS D ON POINT IN BRONX
•La Salle put forth its best defensive showing of the season in its win at Fordham on Feb. 8.
•The Explorers allowed just 52 points to the Rams and help their opponent to 33.9 percent from the field.
•The shooting percentage was the lowest that an opponent has had against La Salle since a 61-57 victory over No. 25 Dayton last season (30.9%).
•The Rams were also held to just nine free-throw attempts, marking the fourth time this season that the Explorers have allowed 10 or fewer free throws.
