PHILADELPHIA - With just four games remaining in the regular season, the La Salle men's basketball team hosts Rhode Island on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at Tom Gola Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., with the game being broadcast nationally on CBS Sports Network. Tom McCarthy (play-by-play), Alaa Abdelnaby (analyst) and Jon Rothstein (sideline) will be on the call. The first 500 students in attendance will receive a free Under Armour long-sleeve shirt.

NEWS & NOTES
•The contest between the Explorers and Rams pits a pair of teams jockeying for position in the A10 standings. 
•URI holds a 9-5 record and is currently tied for third place in the league standings with Richmond, while La Salle is one game behind at 8-6 and in a three-way tie for fifth place. 
•In their most recent outing on Saturday, senior Jordan Price and junior B.J. Johnson each recorded 18 points to help the Explorers to a 83-68 win over Saint Joseph's.
•The victory gave La Salle its first Big 5 win since the 2014-15 season and also split the season series between the two teams.
•Junior Amar Stukes had all 15 of his points in the first half and added six assists, while Price also recorded five assists.
•The Explorers used a 12-2 advantage in three-point field goals made to help them to the victory.
•Stukes went 5-for-6 from the field and 2-for-2 from three-point range, pushing his field goal percentage to 54.3 percent which ranks eighth in the A10.
Pookie Powell added 13 points, seven boards, three assists and three steals vs. SJU.

ALL-TIME SERIES
•The Rams leads the overall series, 24-9, and had won four straight games in a series before La Salle snapped the streak with a 87-75 road win on Jan. 12.
•The Explorers were the first team this season to beat URI in Kingston this season.
•La Salle jumped out to a 43-22 lead at halftime of the game earlier this season, led by junior guard Amar Stukes.
•Stukes had 14 of his career-high 22 points in the opening stanza, and finished 13-for-14 from the free-throw line.
•At home, La Salle is 5-11 in the series including a 4-7 mark at Gola Arena.

SCOUTING RHODE ISLAND
•After two consecutive losses, Rhode Island earned a 77-74 win on the road at George Mason on Feb. 18.
•The game came down to the wire, with a four free throws from Stanford Robinson with less than a minute left proving to be the difference.
•Robinson had a team-high 21 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the floor, while E.C. Matthews added 18.
•Matthews leads the Rams in scoring at 14.8 points per game, while Hassan Martin is second at 13.8 ppg.
