NEWS & NOTES
•The Explorers are looking to bounce back from a 95-75 road loss at George Mason on Saturday, a game in which they were missing starters Pookie Powell and B.J. Johnson.
•Powell, who sat out his fourth straight game with a lower body injury against GMU, is averaging 13.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game this season.
•Johnson, La Salle's leading scorer (17.8 ppg) and rebounder (6.3 rpg), also sat out the game against the Patriots.
•Against GMU, the Explorers jumped out to an early 21-10 lead thanks to hot three-point shooting. La Salle hit five of its first seven attempts from deep.
•From there, a game-altering 30-9 run helped George Mason gain momentum.
•On the night, GMU senior guard Marquise Moore scored 28 points and hit three three-pointers after coming into the game with just one all year.
•For the Explorers, senior Jordan Price posted his third straight game with 21 points while junior Amar Stukes continued his impressive play with 14 points and five assists.
•Junior Johnnie Shuler also came off the bench to contribute a season-high 10 points, including a pair of three pointers.
•La Salle is looking to snap a three-game road losing streak, with its last victory away from home coming against Rhode Island on Jan. 12.

ALL-TIME SERIES
•Fordham has won three straight games in the series that dates back to 1953-54, but the Explorers hold a resounding 35-16 advantage overall.
•La Salle has split 22 games with the Rams at Rose Hill Gymnasium (11-11).
•Last season, Fordham earned a pair of wins, including a 66-61 win in the Bronx.

SCOUTING FORDHAM

INJURY BUG BITES EXPLORERS
