PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle Women's Water Polo team will be hosting the Villanova Wildcats at Kirk Pool on Wednesday. The game marks the historic first home game for the Women's Water Polo program.

Scouting the Explorers
- La Salle claimed its first recorded victory last weekend with a 12-8 win over Penn State Behrend. The team won two of its four games over the weekend, also winning against Lindenwood University's club team
- Scoring was spread out for the team in their win as six players found the back of the net.
Stephanie Morales was the team's leading scorer with six goals

- The Wildcats have claimed their last five games after dropping their first two to start the season
- Villanova has three seniors on the team, including Sheila Gerrity who scored 48 goals last season
