POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The La Salle Women's Water Polo team (1-7, 0-5 MAAC) went down twice on Saturday as part of a three-game MAAC weekend hosted by Marist. The women were first defeated by Iona and then by host Marist.

In game one, the Explorers' scoring was spread evenly as Ann Cho, Katelynn Kubo, Stephanie Morales, and Kacie Cios each scored one goal. In the loss to Marist, only Paige Neary found the back of the net.

La Salle continues its MAAC weekend on Sunday, facing off with St. Francis Brooklyn at noon. The team will then have nearly a week's rest before traveling to play at VMI next Saturday.
