RICHMOND – The La Salle women's basketball team fell to Saint Joseph's 66-48 in the Atlantic 10 Championship Quarterfinal on Friday night at the Richmond Coliseum.

Adreana Miller combined for 32 points but the Hawks proved too much down the stretch.
The Hawks led by seven at the half but the Explorers scored five straight points to open the 3
rd quarter, cutting the deficit to 29-27 on a Miller three with 8:03 left in the quarter. The Hawks, however, quickly answered with a 9-2 run to push the lead back to nine points.
Although the Explorers stayed within striking distance for the rest of the quarter, the Hawks took a 10-point lead in the final second of the 3rd and maintained a double-digit advantage for the entire fourth quarter.
Chelsea Woods tallied a 21-point, 10-rebounds double-double to lead the Hawks. Sarah Veilleux finished with 12 points and Amanda Fiorvanti added 10 points.
