NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - The Women's Water Polo team wrapped up its historic first season on Saturday. Both games resulted in losses for the Explorers as they were downed 18-5 by Iona and 15-3 by Siena.
In the first game,
Paige Neary and Katelynn Cubo led the charge on defense with six and four steals respectively. Neary also have five kickouts drawn.
Stephanie Morales led the scoring column with two goals.
The second game featured the most production out of
Paige Neary. The sophomore had two goals, six kickouts drawn, and five steals. Kubo matched her steal production with five while
Kacie Cios had a goal and two steals.
Head Coach
Paul Macht and La Salle finishes a memorable, historic season that featured its first official win as a program. With ten freshmen and a sophomore on the roster, there's no doubt that this team has further success in its future.
