PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle Baseball team looks to build off of its Liberty Bell Classic Championship win this weekend as it welcomes UMass this weekend. In the win,
Matt Holt threw seven strong innings, striking out seven and allowing just one earned run.
Ben Faso hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth to provide some offense in a 2-1 victory.

Scouting the Minutemen
- UMass has won two of its last three games, including most recently a 6-5 win over Northeastern
- Sophomore infielder Cooper Mrowka is a standout on offense with a team-high .324 batting average and also a team-high three home runs
- Lefty freshman Brooks Knapek leads the rotation with a 2-3 record in seven starts. He has a team-best 3.51 ERA among starters
