Explorers Host Lafayette, Travel to Villanova in Mid-Week Games

PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle baseball team is heading into the final month of its regular season with a single game non-conference matchup against Lafayette on Tuesday at 3:00 PM followed by a road game at Villanova on Wednesday at the same time. The Explorers will look to improve on the field after dropping a weekend series to Atlantic 10 opponent St. Bonaventure. In the series, Rafael Amanau's bat showed some spark as the third baseman batted .333 with a home run, three runs, three RBI's, and a stolen base. Center fielder Brian Tagoe also blasted a home run in the series, his first of the season.
