Box Score DAYTON, Ohio - The La Salle Baseball team lost on the road to Dayton on Thursday afternoon.

Leadoff hitter and back-to-back Big 5 Player of the Week Kevin McGowan continued his hot hitting. He went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double. The home run scored the Explorers' only run of the game.

The home run was McGowan's third of the season. He moves into solo possession of third place on the team in long ball's this year. The sophomore also now has gone five games in a row with at least two hits.

The Explorers will play Dayton again on Friday at 1:00 PM.
