PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle men's basketball team will take a short trip to Reading, Pa., for a matchup with Miami (FL) on Wednesday, Nov. 22. Tickets for the game, which will be held at Santander Arena, will go on sale to the public on Friday, Aug. 25, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Tickets can be purchased in person at the VF Outlet Box Office located at Santander Arena or online at Ticketmaster.com. La Salle fans are encouraged to purchase tickets near the Explorer bench (Section 106).

The Explorers return three of their top scorers from last season, including redshirt senior B.J. Johnson. The 6-7 forward led La Salle in both scoring (17.6 ppg) and rebounding (6.3 rpg), and was named to the All-Philadelphia Big Five First Team.

Also returning are guards Amar Stukes and Pookie Powell. Stukes led the Atlantic 10 in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.4 while averaging a career-best 8.1 points per game last year, while Powell excelled in his first season with the Explorers as he averaged 13.7 points per outing.

The Hurricanes went 21-12 last season and earned an at-large berth into the NCAA Tournament. Three starters return from that team, led by Philadelphia native and Neumann Goretti product Ja'Quan Newton (13.5 ppg). Miami also welcomes the No. 10 recruiting class in the country to the fold in 2017-18. McDonald's All-American Lonnie Walker, who starred at Reading High School, headlines the group.
