PHILADELPHIA- The La Salle volleyball team returned to campus on Monday to prepare for the 2017 season. The team will welcome three freshman and return seven starters from a season ago.

Head coach Caitlin Schweihofer will begin her fourth season at the helm, after she led the Explorers to a five game improvement in the 2016 campaign. The team began last season with five straight wins, a program best, and will look to build on last year's momentum in the upcoming weeks.

The team will open the 2017 season away at the Bucknell Invitational, beginning on August 25 and face opponents Bucknell, Iona and NJIT over the three day tournament.
