NEWPORT NEWS, Va.- For the second time in a row, Samantha Graver of the La Salle volleyball team was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week after leading La Salle to a 3-2 week.

Named to the Valley Forge Sports Invitational All-Tournament team, Graver helped La Salle to wins over Youngstown State, Siena and cross town rival Penn. The rookie posted double-double performances in four of La Salle's five matches on the week.

The Allentown, Pa. native recorded a total of 69 kills, including 25 against Robert Morris, eight aces and 79 digs across five matches for the Explorers. She averaged 3.63 kills per set to lead the team and totaled four block assists.

Graver and the team will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 15, when the team travels to Colgate to compete against a trio of teams in the Colgate Invitational.
