PHILADELPHIA - The men's soccer team is traveling to Pittsburgh this weekend for a match against Duquesne that will mark the beginning of Atlantic 10 play for the Explorers. La Salle went 4-4-1 in non-conference play including a winning stretch of 4-0-1 that they will carry into conference play.
Johnny Ciarlante has heard his name called many times lately as his goal with just over two minutes left in regulation was the game-winner against Hartwick two matches ago and his goal with 41 seconds left against LIU Brooklyn kept the Explorers from being upset by the Blackbirds at home last Wednesday. Ciarlante is tied for second on the team in goals with three. Redshirt senior
Matt Robinson has four, the team-high. Freshman
Soji Olatoye also has three. In net, sophomore
Mark Tobin has a 4-1-1 record and two shutouts.
