NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Samantha Graver of the La Salle volleyball team was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week after leading La Salle to a 4-0 week and the Akron Invitational tournament title.

Graver recorded double-digit kills in every match over the week to total an impressive 64 kills. She added 37 digs and six aces. Named the MVP of the Akron Invitational, Graver contributed 70.5 points in La Salle's successful week.

The team posted wins over Lafayette, Loyola Maryland, Tennessee Tech and Akron to earn a 7-1 season start.
