PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle women's basketball team is hosting VCU on Thursday at noon for the Annual Kids Game. Over 1,000 students from local elementary schools are expected to be in attendance.

Scouting the Explorers
-La Salle dropped a 72-63 decision on the road at URI on Saturday. The game was televised by CBSSN.
-La Salle had four scorers in double figures at Rhody for just the fourth time this season, paced by 14 points from
Adreana Miller. The junior is leading La Salle in scoring in conference play, averaging 17.0 points per game against A-10 opponents.

Shaquana Edwards followed with 13 points, marking her seventh game scoring in double figures. The redshirt freshman also hit a season-high four three-point field goals to account for 12 of her 13 points.

Shalina Miller went 6-for-7 from the floor on the way to 12 points while
Amy Griffin finished with 11 to round out the double-figure scorers for La Salle.
-The Explorers went 8-for-21 from three-point range at Rhody, which is the most three-point field goals they've hit this season since knocking down 10 triples in the season-opening win at Lafayette.
Scouting the Rams
-VCU's game at La Salle will be their third road matchup in the last four games. The Rams are coming off a heartbreaker at UMass on Sunday.
-The Rams trailed by as many as 13 points against UMass but battled back to cut the deficit to 77-75 with nine seconds remaining. Ultimately, UMass held off VCU by going 8-for-10 at the free throw line in the last 44 seconds.
-Tera Reed had a team-high 15 points along with five rebounds at UMass while Taya Robinson scored a career-high 13 points. Reed, who is a freshman guard, is the only Ram averaging double figures in scoring with 13.0 ppg.
-VCU shot a season-high 55.6 percent from three-point range on Sunday, connection on a season-high 10 three-point attempts.
