PHILADELPHIA - Both the La Salle men's and women's swimming and diving teams were announced as Scholar All-America teams for the Fall 2017 semester by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) on Monday.

To earn the honor, teams were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the Fall Semester. La Salle is one of a select amount of schools to be represented by both the men's and women's team. In total, 688 teams from 430 schools were honored.

For a team to be considered, it must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.
