PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle University men's soccer team will welcome the red-hot Davidson Wildcats to McCarthy Stadium on Saturday for a 7 p.m. Atlantic 10 Conference match.
LAST TIME OUT
- La Salle was held in check by George Mason in a 3-0 defeat on Wednesday.
- Senior goalkeeper Cameron Keys made seven saves, all coming in the first half.
- George Mason put the pressure on early, outshooting La Salle 12-2 in the opening frame, leading to a 2-0 halftime advantage.
- Sophomore Soji Olatoye recorded three shots for the Explorers, including two on goal.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
- Davidson stands as the only A-10 team with a perfect conference record entering the weekend, sitting at 3-0 in league play and 7-4 overall.
- The Wildcats have been hot as of late, winning their last three matches and dominating Saint Joseph's on Wednesday, 6-2.
- Henry Howell leads Davidson with 10 points on four goals and two assists. Jaylen Thompson has three goals and three assists, while Ned Morrissett also has three goals on the year.
