Men’s Soccer Wraps Up A-10 Road Slate at George Washington Saturday

PHILADELPHIA – The La Salle University men's soccer team will conclude the road portion of its Atlantic 10 Conference schedule on Saturday when the Explorers travel to the nation's capital to take on George Washington at 2 p.m.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • La Salle fell on the road to the Dayton Flyers on Wednesday, 2-0.
  • Dayton took a 2-0 lead in the opening half and never looked back.
  • Senior goalkeeper Cameron Keys made four saves for the Explorers, while freshmen Omari Cotterell and Sam DeCencio each registered a pair of shots.
SCOUTING THE COLONIALS
  • George Washington enters the contest with a 5-6-2 overall record and a 1-3-1 mark in the A-10.
  • The Colonials are 4-2 at home and are 1-1-1 over their last three matches, including a scoreless draw at Fordham the last time out.
  • Oscar Haynes Brown is the Atlantic 10's leading scorer with 25 points on 11 goals and three assists. He has accounted for more than half of the Colonials' goals this season and has four game-winners to his credit.
  • Thor Arne Höfs anchors George Washington in net with a 1.21 goals against average, a .789 save percentage and five shutouts.
