HOW IT HAPPENED

Four games later, junior Devin Corah rattled off three straight kills, and classmate Catherine Edgington piled up four kills over the next 10 games to push La Salle ahead, 13-6. The Explorers continued to push the gas pedal, leading by as much as eight, and despite a late run by the Colonials, La Salle took the set, 25-21.
  • The third set was tight throughout, and La Salle clung to a one-point lead at 14-13. Then kills by Sharrits and senior Madison Kuch sparked a 5-0 run for the Explorers that helped them to a 25-19 set win.
