• Freshman goalkeeper Brett Werner was named Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Week on Monday.
• The 6-5 rookie made 10 saves and held George Washington in check in Saturday's 1-1 draw.

• The Explorers battled to a 1-1 draw at George Washington on Saturday in their final A-10 road match of the season.
• Freshman Omari Cotterell scored his first collegiate goal to push La Salle out to a 1-0 lead in the first half.
• After the Colonials evened the score late in the second half, Werner made four saves in extra time to preserve the tie.

• NJIT enters the matchup with a 6-9 overall record while sporting a 1-4 mark in the Atlantic Sun.
• The Highlanders started the year 4-0 but are just 2-9 since, falling to Seton Hall and Lipscomb over their last two outings.
• Rene White leads the team with 20 points on nine goals and two assists, while Andrew Nino has two goals and six assists and Pablo Jimenez has three goals and two assists.
• Victor Pujades has spent the majority of time in goal, posting a 1.45 goals against average and a .721 save percentage to go with four shutouts.

• La Salle will conclude the 2018 season on Saturday when the Explorers host Fordham for Senior Day at McCarthy Stadium at 6 p.m. Seniors Jake Saba, Cameron Keys, Garrett Keys, Hayden Criollo, Mathias Patino, Dave Bateman, and Mateo Castro Arias will be honored.
