Corah Named A-10 Co-Player of the Week; First Ever in Program History

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Junior Devin Corah has been named Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. She becomes the first volleyball player in school history to earn this honor.
 
On the week, Corah guided the Explorers to a 2-0 record, with wins over Fordham and Rhode Island. With the wins, the team clinched a spot in the A-10 Championship for the first time in program history.
 
In a 3-1 win over Fordham, the Calgary, Canada native posted a season high 25 kills, hitting .500 to lead the team in both categories. On Sunday against Rhode Island, the outside hitter helped send the seniors off with a win on Senior Day, as she posted 14 kills, while hitting .400.
 
Collectively on the week, she registered 5.57 kills per set with a .459 hit percentage.
 
La Salle is back in action on Friday when it hosts Duquesne for the final home match of the season. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Tom Gola Arena.
