SAINT LOUIS - The La Salle University volleyball team concluded the regular season on Sunday, falling on the road to the Saint Louis Billikens in Atlantic 10 Conference action, 3-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• After falling behind, 14-6, early in the first set, a kill by sophomore Reilly Lowe sparked a 9-0 run to put La Salle ahead by one, highlighted by three kills from freshman Elizabeth Osborn and two service aces by sophomore Samantha Graver. However, the lead was short-lived, as Saint Louis ran away with it, 25-21.
• Graver racked up four straight aces to push the Explorers out to a 5-1 lead in the second set. La Salle still led midway through, 16-14, but the Billikens surged ahead and scored the final four points to close the set.
• The Explorers led by four early on, 11-7, before the Billikens went on a 6-0 run to go on top. La Salle was unable to come back after that, dropping the final set, 25-20.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• Graver had a career-high six service aces as well as 12 digs.
• Osborn led the team with 10 kills and had eight digs, while senior Madison Kuch chipped in nine kills.

UP NEXT

• La Salle will make its first-ever appearance in the A-10 Championship next weekend. The Explorers will take on Duquesne in the quarterfinals on Friday at 4:30 p.m. in Richmond, Va.
