LEWISBURG, Pa. - The La Salle men's & women's swimming and diving teams are set to take part in the three-day Bucknell Invitational, beginning on Friday, Nov. 16. In addition to the Explorers and host Bison, Towson, Old Dominion, Fordham, Davidson and Georgetown will take part.
ABOUT THE EXPLORERS
- La Salle competed in a tri-meet on the campus of the University of Delaware last weekend, squaring off against the Blue Hens and Rider.
- Junior Marcus Forsgren was a double winner on the men's side, earning victories in both the 100 breast and the 100 free.
- In the 100 free, teammate Norm Gregory finished second to help the Explorers in the team competition.
- Freshman Zachary Wolbert also took home two golds, closing in first place in both the 200 fly and 200 IM.
- Senior Kyle McElwee took the 200 free title, and also anchored the 400 free relay that finished in first.
- In women's action, junior Carrie Horan was the lone victor as she touched the wall ahead of all competitors in the 100 breast.
